Melissa Africano started her career in short-term rental as a first-time home buyer, transforming a low-performing rental into a highly desirable beach getaway. Melissa mastered this business by living it first. 

Growing up, Melissa's best memories are her summers spent in a cottage on Ossipee Lake and visiting her family's beach homes on Cape Cod and in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire.  

Later in life, she started traveling more extensively, with unique stays that range from an Alaskan tree house to corporate-focused homes in Amsterdam. These getaway experiences, along with a decade in marketing and a lifetime of tagging along to decorating jobs with her interior designer mother shape her thoughtful approach to short-term rental services.
